I’m finding great availability for Fall travel; yes, there is that pesky possibility of hurricanes, but aside from that, the flights and hotels are cheap: Doubletree Hilton for $118, or a stay at the San Juan International Hostel for $19.
The lowest fare days seem to be Tuesdays and Thursday. Whether it’s a quick 5 day weekend or a week stay, flying San Juan roundtrip from $300 out of the West Coast is a bargain.
