    i like amex card but so many places in us give me trouble about using it as i am told they (amex) charges way more than visa or mc and in europe esp france forget it about using amex cash-euros everywhere only
    i am having trouble with amex trying to e-debit my checking account so we will see who wins. on this one.. i have talked to customer no services in philippines/idia/toronto jamaica etc and no one can understand what needs to be done…

      Hi Dot,

      Amex does charge a slightly higher merchant processing fee for transactions than Visa or Mastercard so some merchants choose not to accept it.
