Which public transportation does not accept the Regional Day Pass?

The Regional Day Pass can NOT be used on:

Monorail
Washington State Ferry
Amtrak

Where to buy a Regional Day Pass

The $9 regional transit day pass can be purchased from your hotel or conference organizer.

On May 1, regional day passes can be purchased at ticket vending machines (TVMs).

Can I share my Regional Day Pass?

No, a Regional Day Pass is only valid for one rider.

Is there a discounted rate for children and reduced fare passengers?

No, the pilot program is only for adult riders.

Is the Regional Day Pass a good value?

It could be depending on how much you’ll use public transportation.

If you’re staying near the airport and go to downtown Seattle for dinner, a round-trip on the Central Link light rail is $5.50.

If that’s the only public transportation you’re using for the day, it doesn’t make sense to buy a day pass. But if you’re going sightseeing and want to explore areas outside of downtown Seattle, buying a day pass could be worth it.
