Hawaiian Airlines is offering $144 one-way flights ($293 round-trip) to Maui for travel through March 12, 2015.

But you have to book by February 12, 2015.

These special fares are only valid for travel on Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can book discounted flights to Maui for:

• $273 one-way from Dallas
• $144 one-way from Los Angeles
• $179 one-way from Oakland
• $193 one-way from Sacramento
• $144 one-way from San Francisco
• $169 one-way from San Jose

Less than $300 to fly round-trip to Maui

But I Don’t Live in Any of Those Cities

You can use miles or points to get to to Los Angeles, San Francisco, or any of the other cities and then fly to Hawaii.

And if you have the Southwest Companion Pass, two can fly for the price of one.

What You Should Know About Hawaiian Airlines

 1.  Travel Light Brah

You’ll pay a checked bag fee of $25 for your first bag and $35 for a second checked bag.

HawaiianMiles members pay $15 for the first checked bag and $20 for a second bag.

But if you have the Hawaiian Airlines card, you get 1 free check bag. (Yep, one more reason to keep that card.)

If you are a HawaiianMiles Pualani Platinum, Gold, First Class, or Premier Club members the fee is waived.

So consider packing light. Besides all you really need are a couple of bathing suits…
