A Safe, Easy Way to Repel Mosquitoes Naturally

Share with a friend

Disclosure: I received the Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet (5 Pack) in exchange for my unbiased review.

Summer means mosquitoes.  Unless you live in San Diego which means lots of mosquitoes, all year.

So you’d think we’d choose a family vacation where those pesky bugs are few and far between.  Nope.  We’re going to Belize this summer.

Think tropical and TONS of mosquitoes.  Yeah, I know. What was I thinking?

A $360 round-trip flight from San Diego to Belize, that’s what.  So we’re headed to the tropics and I need mosquito protection.

Stop mosquitoes naturally with ECO Defense Mosquito Repellent bracelets

You might be a total mosquito magnet like me.  Mosquitoes seem me coming and think, “lunch!”

Because I’m more of a natural girl, some might even say semi-crunchy, I wanted to try the Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet:

  • All natural mosquito repellent
  • Chemical free
  • 100% guaranteed to help repel mosquitoes
  • Safe for everyone

The Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet comes five to a pack in a resealable pouch.  The package doesn’t appear to be waterproof so you should avoid getting it wet.

Update: You can now buy 10 pack of Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelets.

One thing I noticed immediately was the smell.  The Citronella was very strong.  I could smell it through the padded envelope.  But hey, if it repels mosquitoes bring it on.

The bracelets are 9 1/4″ long and @ 1/2″ wide made from a velvety soft microfiber and have 6 holes.  You can easily adjust them to fit your wrist.  They’re easy to put in by yourself, but children may need help.

The Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet is safe for kids.  But it’s recommended that for children under 3, you avoid direct skin contact.  Instead attach the bracelet to their clothing, stroller, or walker.

No Mosquito Bites

I took these babies out for a spin before my trip.  Just in case… And they worked great. Jeff and I went to the Duck Pond.  Usually I come back looking like I’ve put my legs into a sea of mosquitoes. But I was completely bite-free.  I had expected a few bites, but not no bites.

Carry-on Friendly

I’m not sure what I like more, the fact that the bracelets are all natural or that they’re carry-on friendly.

Like me, you probably like to avoid checking bags. So you can put the bracelets in your carry-on bag. All natural, non-liquid, fits in your carry-on. Win, win!

The Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelet is on sale on Amazon for $11.99 including free shipping for Amazon Prime members.

Conclusion

What really appealed to me about the Eco Defense Mosquito Repellent Bracelets is their organic nature and being able to bring them anywhere.  And even better, it’s not a liquid. So it you put it in your carry-on bag. All natural, non-liquid, fits in your carry-on. Win, win!
