American Airlines is offering great rates for travel this weekend such as San Diego to New York $228 roundtrip. Rates include all taxes and fee.
The holiday season is a great time to visit New York and check out the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.
The reverse routing is also $228 so any New Yorkers (or New Jerseyeans, if that’s a word) can skip the cold and head out to San Diego.
Other great rates for this weekend’s travel include:
- Chicago (ORD) to John Wayne Orange County (SNA) – $238
- Chicago (ORD) to San Jose (SJC) – $288
- Boston (BOS) to Los Angeles (LAX) – $256
- Fresno (FAT) to Tampa (TPA) – $288

These rates would be perfect since I’m flying out to New York this weekend but I need to get there sooner than the cheapest flight would allow me to arrive. But with rates like these, a little weekend getaway is bound to be in someone’s cards. Will it be yours?
