20,000 Bonus Miles Every Flight American Airlines AAdvantage miles

American Airlines is matching British Airways’ offer that I posted yesterday and offering 20,000 bonus miles every flight.

And they’ve gone one better, American has opened up the promotion to Mexico residents.

For every transatlantic roundtrip flight you’ll receive 20,000 AAdvantage miles.

Fly 5 roundtrips will earn you an additional 100,000 AAdvantage miles resulting in total of 200,000 bonus AAdvantage miles for 5 transatlantic roundtrips.

2 Easy Steps to Earn 20,000 Bonus Miles Every Flight:

1. Register for the 20,000 bonus miles every flight promotion here, using promo code EURAA.

2. Fly a qualifying roundtrip transatlantic flight on American AirlinesBritish Airways, Iberia, or OpenSkies flights between March 18 – May 31, 2013

Do I need to use my AAdvantage frequent flyer number to get the bonus?

Yes.  To get the 20,000 bonus miles for every flight, you must credit your flight to your American Airlines AAdvantage number.

If you want 20,000 bonus Avios, you can credit your flight to British Airways.  Read more about 20,000 bonus Avios here.

Is there a limit to how many AAdvantage miles I can earn?

No.  This is an unlimited miles promotion.  The more flights you fly, the more miles you’ll earn.

How many times can I get the bonus 100,000 AAdvantage miles after every 5 roundtrip flights?

Only once.  The 100,000 AAdvantage mile offer after your fifth roundtrip is a one time bonus offer.

Can I book a cheap ticket, apply a System Wide Upgrade (SWU or EVIP) and still earn 20,000 AAdvantage for the flight?

Yes.  Unlike the British Airways promotion, American is allowing upgraded flights to receive the 20,000 bonus miles.

Is this promotion combinable with the double miles promotion to Dusseldorf?

No. You can not earn 20,000 bonus miles and double miles to Dusseldorf.
