If you were thinking about getting the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, now is the time because the IHG 140K offer ends soon.

Update: The credit card offer in this post is available again

The bonus on the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card is 140,000 points when you spend $3,000 in purchases in the first three months. This is the highest point offer on this card.

But the 140,000 point bonus ends on January 13, 2021.

With 5,977 hotels in almost 100 countries, IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) offers a variety of hotels depending on your budget.

From luxury hotels like InterContinental to boutique hotels like Kimpton Hotels and Resort to budget-friendly accommodations like Holiday Inn, there’s an IHG hotel for every traveler.

The IHG cards, the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, and the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card are easily overlooked but provide tremendous value.

This is the highest bonus offered by IHG.

Free hotel reward nights start at 10,000 points per night.

With 165,000 points you can spend a long three-day weekend staying at the Holiday Inn Express Springdale exploring Zion National Park. You can enjoy a 7 night trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon if you stay at the Holiday Inn Express St. George.

Or you could stay two nights at The Palazzo Las Vegas or the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort Thalasso.

The IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card is a great card if you stay at IHG hotels often or infrequently.

Why You Should Get The IHG One Rewards Premier Card

If the 140,000 offer isn’t compelling enough, here are a few more reasons why you should get the IHG Premier Credit Card.

Fourth Night Free

When you have the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card or IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card, you get the fourth night free when using points. So that trip to Zion becomes 6 nights!

Pro-tip: There is no limit on how many times you can use the fourth night free benefit.

Free Night Every Year

You get a free night every year and each year you have the IHG Premier card. This award night is valid at any IHG hotel worldwide that costs 40,000 points or less a night.

Pro-tip: You can’t use the free night award and pay points for a higher category hotel.

Another perk of the IHG One Rewards Premier card is free Platinum Elite status. As a Platinum elite, you get free room upgrades, free Wi-Fi, late check-out, and more! IHG Platinum elite members earn 50% bonus points on paid stays.

Pro-tip: Your points stays count towards elite status.

Extra Points

As an IHG One Rewards Premier cardholder, you get up to 26 points per $1 spent at IHG hotels, 5 points per $1 spent on travel and at gas stations and restaurants, and 3 points on all other purchases.

Pro-tip: When staying at an IHG hotel and dining at the restaurant, charge the bill to your room and pay with your card at check out. You’ll earn up to 26 points for every dollar vs the 5 dollars for restaurant charges.

$100 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck Credit

Stop taking off your shoes when you fly because with this card you get up to a $100 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit.

Pro-tip: After getting your Known Traveler Number (KTN) remember to add it to your frequent flyer account.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

There are no foreign transaction fees on the IHG Premier card. So this is a great card to use when traveling outside the United States.

Pro-tip: When using your card internationally, avoid dynamic currency conversion by paying in the country’s currency.
