2 Easy Ways to Spend $10, Get $10

1. Register your American Express card on the Small Business Saturday website.
2. Spend $10 with your registered Amex at a participating small business on Saturday, November 30, 2013.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving (November 30, 2013 this year) American Express supports small businesses by encouraging folks to shop at small businesses by offering a $10 statement credit for using an American Express credit card on a purchase of more than $10!

Registration is now open for Small Business Saturday. Amex will close registration at 11:59 p.m. MST on November 30, 2013 or once they reach their targeted number, whichever comes first.

The earlier you register the better.

You can register all your American Express cards for the promotion and authorized users Amex cards that have a separate card number.

American Express cards issued by Barclays, and Citibank can also be registered. But authorized users on those cards can’t register since they have the same credit card number.

You can only get 1 $10 statement per Amex card number BUT you can get an unlimited number of statement credits. So if you have 10 American Express cards, and you spend $10 on each, you’d get $100 in statement credits.

You can even get the statement credit on Amex business cards.

$10 statement credit will be received if you spend $10 or more at a qualifying small business
