JetBlue Up to 130% Bonus Point Promotion Offer

Through December 31, 2024, JetBlue is offering up to a 130% bonus when you buy points. This means for every 1,000 points you buy, you’ll get an additional 1,300 points for free.

You have to log into your JetBlue TrueBlue account to see your exact bonus. The extra points offer starts when you buy a minimum of 3,000 points.

Normally you can buy a maximum of 200,000 points a calendar year not including any bonuses. But during this promotion, the restriction is waived. With the 130% bonus, you could buy 223,000 points for $7,191.75 and get a total of 512,900 points.

When Does This Sale Make Sense?

For a revenue based program like JetBlue buying points doesn’t always make sense. But buying points during a sale like this makes the most sense if you’re short points for an award ticket. If you need a thousand points to book the ticket, purchasing them during this sale could save you money compared to paying cash for the flight.

However, you could use your JetBlue points for flights on Hawaiian Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Etihad Airways and take a shower during your flight.

Conclusion

The 130% bonus on JetBlue points is a good deal if you’re short on points and have a specific redemption in mind. Because it’s a great opportunity to save. You’ll get the most value if you use those points for flights on Etihad and Qatar. But if you’re not sure how to use your points or don’t have travel plans, it might be better to hold off.
