Nor does it require you to apply for another credit card.

5 Easy Steps to Citibank's 40,000 Thank You Points Offer

1. Open a regular checking account in the Citigold Account Package by July 31, 2013.
2. Enroll the new checking account in Citi Thank You Rewards and make 1 qualifying direct deposit within 60 days.
3. Post 1 qualifying bill payment during the first calendar month
4. Post a second qualifying bill payment during the second calendar month
5. Enroll in paperless statements*

30,000 Thank You Points for opening a regular checking account

Open a Citigold Account Package checking account, make 1 direct deposit, and two bill payments and get 30,000 Thank You Points.

10,000 more Thank You Points

Get an additional 10,000 Thank You Points when you either:

• Enroll in paperless statements.
• Enroll in PopMoney and have 1 transaction debited from your checking account.
• Download Citi Mobile app and use app to access your checking account
• Download Citi Tablet App and use app to access your checking account

within 60 days of account opening.

• Offer limited to US citizens or resident aliens aged 18 or older.
• Valid US taxpayer identification number required.
• Citigold Account Packing checking account must be opened by July 31, 2013
• Qualifying actions of enrolling in Citi Thank You Rewards, 1 direct deposit, and 2 bill payments must be completed within 60 days of account opening
• One bill payment per month for the first two consecutive months after account opening is required
• Additional qualifying action of either enrollment in paperless statements, PopMoney with 1 transaction debited, download either Citi Mobile or Citi Tablet app and access checking account in required within 60 days of account opening.
