The Mirage Volcano Show is one of the best free shows in Las Vegas. This is the best place to watch the volcano erupt with unobstructed views and no crowds!

Pro-tip: It’s not at The Mirage.

The volcano show is choreographed to audio from real volcanic eruptions and an original drum score from Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead and Zakir Hussain created exclusively for The Mirage.

Mirage volcano show is held on the Las Vegas Strip in front of The Mirage Resort & Casino. You can watch the 12 feet high fireballs every night on the hour at 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm. The Las Vegas volcano show lasts for 4 1/2 minutes.

Get there about 20 minutes early to grab a front-row spot on the rail.

But if you want to see the show without having to fight for a spot on the rail, watch this entire video to find out where is the best spot to view the Mirage Volcano Show.

Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best card for beginning travel hackers. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points (after spending $4,000 in the first three months).

My favorite perks about this card are earning 2X points on travel and dining, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.

Chase Freedom Unlimited

The Chase Freedom Unlimited is one of my favorite cards for earning cash back card and travel rewards. It offers a welcome offer of $200 (after spending $500 in the first three months).

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5% cash back at grocery stores the first 12 months (up to $12k), unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases and no annual fee. When paired with cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, you can use your points to travel for free.
