Yep, I’m still alive. It’s been a crazy month of traveling with long days and eating out. I’ve spent the last 30 days in Iguazu Falls (both the Argentina and Brazil side), Tahoe, Atlanta, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Chicago, and Beijing.

So it’s nice to enjoy a home-cooked meal.

LG Studio Kitchen Suite, Traveling Well For Less

You might think twice about traveling if your kitched was outfitted with the LG Studio Kitchen Suite

And as many of you know, I’m a big fan of food. The more of it, the happier I am. So I enjoyed being able to see the new LG Studio Kitchen Suite at the Type-A Parent Conference in Atlanta.

Even if you love your current kitchen, the gleaming new stylish, premium stainless steel appliances will be sure to turn your head. Here’s a video featuring Nate Berkus describing how and why he chose the design elements.

I was salivating just a little at the thought of all the delicious treats I could bake in a new wall oven.

Although I’m a hell of a baker, I leave the cooking to my husband. That man can rock the kitchen. He’s an excellent chef without any professional training.

He would have loved meeting chefs Virginia Willis, Kevin Rathbun, and Kevin Gillespie (from Top Chef Season 6) who were invited by Best Buy to give cooking demonstrations at the conference.  The chefs were warm, approachable, and down to earth.

Chef Willis was hilarious! I stayed for her entire demonstration but only got to see a few minutes of the other chefs. There were too many awesome sessions going on at the same time at the cooking.

I knew if I stayed too long admiring the shiny new refrigerator with slam proof doors (perfect if you have teenage boys) I would have ordered one online from Best Buy. Not that it would have been a bad thing. But how would I have explained that to the hubby. Although Christmas is coming up…

If you’re thinking of replacing your appliances, here are some Best Buy offers you can take advantage of:

  • 5X My BBY Points on all LG Cooking Major Appliances (valid through October 31, 2015)
  • Save an additional $400 when you create your own 4 piece LG kitchen package (valid through November 3, 2015)
  • Free delivery, haul-away & recycling on Major Appliance purchases of $399 and up
  • 18 month financing on Major Appliance purchases of $599 and up or 10% back in Rewards

Conclusion

I’m not normally enamored with baubles but I do love my technology. And the LG Studio Kitchen Suite appliances embrace the newest technological features without sacrificing energy savings – a win-win for this techno semi-crunchy girl.

There’s still time to to save money when buying the LG Studio Kitchen Suite from Best Buy which means more money to travel.

If you could replace any of your kitchen appliances, which one would it be?
