Today's Sunday Someday is Yosemite.

Despite living in California for most of my life, I have yet to visit Yosemite National Park.

You can use frequent flyer miles and points to go to Yosemite.

The closest airport is Fresno.  Fresno is 1.5 hours away.  Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airline fly into Fresno.

You will pay 25,000 miles for a roundtrip ticket to Fresno. Or you can use 9,000 British Airways Avios points if you're within 650 miles from Fresno.  For flights further away, you'll pay 15,000 or 20,000 British Airways Avios points.

If you have the Southwest Companion Pass, you could fly to San Francisco or San Jose, a 4 hour drive from Yosemite.

Yosemite National Park is everyday, year round.  But access may be limited in the winter (November to May or June) due to road closures.

Have you been to Yosemite National Park? Is it on your bucket list?
