Up to 1,000 Bonus Points Per Night at Hyatt

You can earn up to 1,000 bonus points a night at any Hyatt hotel worldwide and participating M life hotels for stays through May 15, 2018.

You can earn up to 1,000 bonus points per night at any Hyatt hotel worldwide and participating M life hotels for stays through May 15, 2018. TravelingWellForLess.com

This offer is valid on paid stays including Points + Cash and award nights. Yep, you read that right.

You’ll earn bonus points on award nights and free night awards!

Stays at Oasis Collection properties are excluded from this offer.

To earn the bonus points you have to register for the promotion by March 31, 2018.

Is This a Good Deal?

This is a good deal because it’s an easy way to earn more Hyatt points.

Now that award nights counts towards elite status, this will help you earn elite status faster. Because you can use the bonus points you earn from this promo to get more free nights. And those free nights will get you closer to Globalist status (free breakfast, free suite upgrades, late checkout, etc.)

Need more Hyatt points? Here’s how you can get a 30% bonus on Hyatt points.

How to Maximize This Promotion

You can earn a maximum of 25,000 bonus points. So after 25 nights, you’ll earn 25,000 bonus points.

Assuming most hotels cost $100 a night excluding taxes, you’ll pay $2,500 for 25,000 points.

This means you’re paying 10 cents a point. Not a great deal. You can buy points for 2.4 cents a point. Right now you can buy them for 1.84 cents a point.

Here’s how to earn the most bonus points for the least cost.

Use Points

If you use points to stay at Hyatt hotels, you pay $0 and earn up to 25,000 points.

Mattress running and paying with points for this offer isn’t a good use of your points. Because you’ll pay more points than what you’ll earn.

But it could be worth it if you were already staying at Hyatt.

Cheap Hyatt Hotels

You can maximize this promotion for the least cost if you stay at inexpensive Hyatts. Think weekends in Dallas, Phoenix, and Washington, DC).

Generally, these are Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels. Sometimes you can find a few Hyatt Regency hotels for $60 a night plus tax. You’ll earn 500 bonus points per night.

At $60 a night, you’ll spend $1,500 to earn 12,500 points. Making it a cost of 12 cents per point if you’re mattress running.

Remember, for a limited time you can buy Hyatt points for 1.84 cents.

M life Hotels

Or you can stay at participating M life hotels where you can earn 1,000 bonus points a night.

You can stay at Excalibur for $22 a night, sometimes even $19 a night plus a $30 resort fee and taxes.

Twenty-five nights at Excalibur for $55 a night costs $1,375 and earns 25,000 points.

A lot cheaper, but you’re paying 5 cents per point to mattress run at Excalibur.

Although, you might want to stay at Excalibur instead of the Hyatt Place Las Vegas because you’ll earn twice as many points.

Summary of the Fine Print

  • You have to register by March 31, 2018
  • Hotel checkout must occur between February 15, 2018 and May 15, 2018
  • There’s a limit of 25,000 bonus points
  • Payment through a Master account (aka employer, group) are considered ineligible rates and won’t earn bonus points
  • Bonus points will post 2 to 3 weeks after Hyatt stays and 4 to 6 weeks after stays at M life hotels.

Conclusion

You can earn up to 1,000 bonus points per night at Hyatt through May 15, 2018. But you have to register by March 31, 2018.

Both paid nights and award nights (including free nights) earn bonus points.

This is a great deal if you are planning on staying at Hyatt. Because you can earn a lot of extra points without any effort.

You can use those bonus points for more free nights and to get closer to Globalist elite status.

It doesn’t make sense to mattress run because it’ll cost you more than if you bought points. You can buy Hyatt points for 1.84 cents per point.
