Share with a friend

You can save up to a 10% discount at Hyatt hotels when you make your reservation on up to a 10% discount at Hyatt hotels or via the Hyatt mobile app. Just in time for summer and to take advantage of Hyatt’s Stay More Play More promotion for 75,000 Hyatt points.

But before you book, you could get a bigger discount if you don’t use the Hyatt member rate.

How to Get an up to 10% Discount at Hyatt Hotels

If you’re a member of the Hyatt Gold Passport program (loyalty program), you can save up to 10% at Hyatt hotels in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and Australia when you book on Hyatt.com or using the Hyatt app (Apple or Android).

Membership is free and it only takes a few minutes to join Hyatt Gold Passport.

There’s no limit to how many hotel nights you can book using the discount nor end to this promotion. (Unless Hyatt decides to discontinue it like they did with the My Elite Rate program.) But the discount is subject to availability and varies depending on the hotel.

And it only applies to new reservations. So you should check any existing reservations to see if you could save money. Because rates fluctuate. So always double check your hotel, car rental, and airline tickets to see if the prices have decreased.

Why You Should Book Through Hyatt

So many benefits like free wi-fi, free breakfast, and upgrades when you book directly through Hyatt. Traveling Well For Less

Do you know all the reasons you should book through Hyatt?

Hyatt’s not the first hotel to offer member only discounts. Hilton, Marriott, and Starwood also offer a discount for members of their loyalty program when they book directly with the hotel. And in 2014, they offered a 20% discount under the My Elite Rate program.

Apart from the ease of booking directly on the Hyatt website or on the app (Apple or Android), there are many reasons to book through Hyatt:

  • Best Rate Guarantee – Find a lower price and Hyatt will match it and give you an extra 20% discount.
  • Earn points and elite status – You get 5 Hyatt points per $1 spent and after 5 stays get free premium in-room Wi-Fi. After 25 stays you get free breakfast (for up to 4 people), upgrades, and suites.
  • Your Wish is Their Command (within reason) – Booking directly ensures that you get the room you prefer, the type and number of pillows you like, even down to what paper you like to read in the morning.
  • Responsive social media team – You can make reservations, request upgrades, get help, and even cancel a booking when you reach out to Hyatt on Twitter. This is great if you’re flying or only have internet access and can’t call.

And later this year you’ll be able to text or message Hyatt directly via the Hyatt app.

Conclusion

You can get up to a 10% discount when you make your hotel reservations on Hyatt.com or using the Hyatt app (Apple or Android).

The discount is valid on new reservations at Hyatt hotels in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and Australia, subject to availability. And you can stack this discount with your bookings for the Stay More Play More promotion for 75,000 Hyatt points.

And while a 10% discount is better than no discount, remember to check all possible discounts like you qualify for such as AAA, Senior, or Government rates.
