Share with a friend

Being upgraded to a suite, enjoying free breakfast, free parking, and no resort fees. All these perks and more can be yours when you stay at Hyatt hotels worldwide. To become a Hyatt Globalist you have to stay 60 nights a year at Hyatt hotels. But here’s how to get Hyatt Globalist status for free.

Globalist is Hyatt’s top-tier elite status. If you stay 60 nights a year at Hyatt hotels you can earn Hyatt Globalist status. But now you don’t have to.

We’ve partnered with Hyatt and you can get Hyatt Globalist status for free.

Hyatt Globalist

There are four membership levels in the World of Hyatt loyalty program (formerly Hyatt Goldpassport):

  • Member
  • Discoverist
  • Explorist
  • Globalist

When you join the World of Hyatt you receive member status. After staying 10 nights in a year or earning 25,000 base points, you become a Discoverist. With 30 nights or 50,000 base points, you reach the Explorist level. And after 60 nights or 100,000 base points, you earn Globalist status.

How to Get Hyatt Globalist Status for Free

We’re giving away Hyatt Globalist status to one lucky reader.

You’ll get all the perks of Globalist status like free breakfast, free upgrades, and waived resort fees. And you didn’t have to stay 60 nights! How sweet is that!

Tell us which Hyatt hotel you’d use your Hyatt Globalist status at in the comments section below.

Leave your comment by 9pm PST on April 10, 2017.

And because we’re feeling generous, here’s how you can earn extra entries:

Oh, the yucky fine print. Because you’re winning Globalist status instead of earning it, you won’t get the 4 suite upgrades. But that’s okay. Because as a Globalist, you can get upgraded to a basic suite for free.

And you won’t get the free award night at any Hyatt hotel, access to My Hyatt Concierge or be able to requalify for Hyatt Globalist status after 55 nights. But no worries, because all the other perks apply. Free breakfast! No resort fees! Oh, yeah.

Conclusion

You could get Hyatt Globalist status for free when you leave a comment telling me which Hyatt you’d use your Globalist status at by 9 pm PST on April 10, 2017.

Normally, you have to stay 60 nights a year to earn Globalist status. But you can get it without any stays if you’re the lucky winner.

As a Hyatt Globalist you awesome perks like free breakfast, suite upgrades and more!

Hi Kim,

The free Globalist offer was a limited time special promo with Hyatt. But you can get Hyatt Globalist status by using points. Award stays count towards status - https://www.travelingwellforless.com/2017/12/28/world-of-hyatt-count-award-stays-towards-elite-status/.

You can also get 500 to 1,000 bonus points per night when you stay at Hyatt hotels - https://www.travelingwellforless.com/2018/02/15/1000-bonus-points-a-night-hyatt/.

If you're short on points you can transfer Ultimate Rewards points, get the Hyatt credit card (40k points), or apply for one of the many Ultimate Rewards earning cards.
