25 Travel Gifts for $25 or less
1. Electronic Accessories Organizer, Hard Drive Bag, or Cosmetics Bag
I use an old American Airlines amenity kit to hold all my electronic accessories.
But what I love about the Damero Black Portable Electronic Accessories Travel Organizer Case/hard Drive Bag/cosmetic Bag is the adjustable, removable padded dividers. All your electronics are neatly separated and tucked in.
You can buy the Damero Black Portable Electronic Accessories Travel Organizer Case/hard Drive Bag/cosmetic Bag on Amazon for $19.99 including free shipping with Amazon Prime.
2. Travel Alarm Clock
When I’m traveling I’m paranoid about oversleeping and missing my flight so I always set two alarms on my phone and have a wakeup call. I had a cute travel alarm clock like the Travelwey Travel Alarm Clock, but lost it somewhere along my travels.
So I’ve been looking at the Travelwey Travel Alarm Clock and the World Time Travel Alarm Clock with Flashlight. I’m leaning towards the World Time Travel Alarm Clock because it has a flashlight.

You’ll want a money belt with a solid clasp like the Merinte MONEY BELT which is on sale on Amazon for $9.97 including free shipping with Amazon Prime.
10. Car Charger
You can never have too many chargers for your electronics.
It’s a good idea to bring a car charger when you travel, even if you aren’t driving. Because many of the old planes only have DC power adaptors.
And you can ask your friendly Uber or Lyft driver to charge your phone or tablet. I’ve never had a driver say no. And I have a 5 rating. 🙂 The trick is to bring your charger and ask nicely.
Fast car chargers are inexpensive. You can buy the AINOPE car charger on Amazon with free shipping from Amazon Prime.
11. Travel Toothbrush
Traveling with extra toothbrushes is a great idea.
I keep one in my carry-on bag and another in the front pocket of my backpack. This way I can brush my teeth without having to get my toothbrush out of the overhead compartment.

I decided not to wait for Santa to bring it to me and bought Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Ipad Shoulder Bag Travel Portfolio Bag on Amazon.
13. Carabiner
This Black Diamond Positron Screwgate Carabiner is a versatile gift. It’s perfect for climbers and non-climbers.

14. Rechargeable Batteries
I’m a big fan of rechargeable batteries. We use them at home but I haven’t used them when traveling, big mistake.
Regular batteries died in Iguazu Falls and Beijing so I lost out on picture opportunities. And the batteries I bought overseas only lasted for a few hours. It made me realize I need a rechargeable battery travel pack.
I found the Battery Charger with eneloop AA 2100 Cycle Rechargeable Batteries. It fits in your carry-on (or camera) bag. And you won’t miss out on any photos.

15. World Map
Know someone who’s been there and done that? Give them a gift that reinforces their love for travel, a travel map.

16. Door Lock
Buying a door lock is a great gift for any traveler. As a frequent solo female traveler, I use a doorstop.
But sometimes there’s a big gap under the door and the door stop can be kicked out.
I just discovered the Addalock which is small enough to fit easily in my carryon yet light so that it doesn’t add extra weight. You can buy the Addalock – (1 Piece) on Amazon) for $21.95 including free shipping with Amazon Prime.
17. Laptop Sleeve
Finding the right case for your laptop can be a challenge. I spent hours agonizing over which one to buy, reading all the reviews.
And it came down to the Inateck 13-13.3 Inch Macbook Air/ Pro Retina/ 12.9 Inch iPad Pro Sleeve Case Cover Ultrabook Netbook Laptop Bag, Grey and the Snugg Macbook Air & Pro 13 Inch Case – Leather Sleeve Case with Lifetime Guarantee (White) for Apple Macbook Air 13 and Macbook Pro 13 with Retina.
Although it was more expensive, I choose the Snugg Macbook Air & Pro 13 Inch Case – Leather Sleeve Case with Lifetime Guarantee (White) for Apple Macbook Air 13 and Macbook Pro 13 with Retina. Yeah, Jeff gave me a hard time too. White, how am I supposed to keep that clean. But surprisingly, after 4 months of use and heavy traveling (Iguazu Falls, Lake Tahoe, Atlanta, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Beijing, and San Jacinto) it’s still white. It does come in other colors, I just like the crisp, clean look of white.

18. Argan Oil
Flying can dry out your skin. And there’s only so much water you can drink to stay hydrated. Consider using Argan Oil.
I used Argan Oil when I flew on Etihad First Class flight from Dallas to Abu Dhabi and my skin felt soft instead of dry. It also keep your skin moisturized in the winter.
You can buy Cococare Argan Oil – 100 Percent Natural – 2 Fl Oz on Amazon for $7.42. It comes in larger sizes, but most come in glass bottles which can break when traveling. So I like this plastic 2 ounce bottle. It fits in my toiletries bag.
19. Binoculars
We bring (okay, Jeff brings) a pair of compact binoculars when we travel. Love being able to zoom in things far away.
We used the binoculars like opera glasses when we paid 3 euros to see a performance at the Vienna Opera house.
The pair he uses is discontinued but this Bushnell Powerview Compact Folding Roof Prism Binocular is nice and compact. And you can buy them on Amazon for $16.99 including free shipping with Amazon Prime.

22. Travel Fork, Knife, and Spoon (humangear Gobites Trio)
You may recall I’m a big fan of sporks. They come in handy when traveling, especially if you’re frugal and prefer a supermarket stop over a fast-food run.

23. Solar Charger
Yet another charger, I know. However, this Solar Charger means you can charge your phone, camera, or tablet at the beach, camping, riding a bus, or on Southwest Airlines (or any other airline that doesn’t have power adaptors on their planes).
You can buy the Solar Charger,Dizaul 5000mAh Portable Solar Power Bank Waterproof/Shockproof/Dustproof Dual USB Battery Bank for cell phone,iPhone,Samsung,Android phones,Windows phones,GoPro Camera,GPS and More on Amazon for $23.95 including free shipping with Amazon Prime.
24. Weekend Bag
Do you take short trips? Weekend getaways? A weekend bag makes a nice addition to your luggage stash. Especially if you’re staying somewhere nice and want to go fancy vs strolling up sporting a backpack.

Fun gift ideas. I love that they are all very affordable. I would have thought that the Camping Hammock would be more expensive.

A shoulder bag is perfect. When you're traveling, it's nice that have your hands free so a bag that you can wear like a satchel will be handy! Nice gift idea!
