30,000 Points For American Express Business Gold

You can get 30,000 points for the American Express Business Gold card after you spend $5,000 within 3 months.

If you sign up for Amazon Prime membership and pay with your Amex Business Gold in the first 3 months, you can get a $79 statement credit.

I love my Amazon Prime membership.  You can’t beat free 2 day shipping!  Just in time for holiday shopping.

There have been higher signup bonuses for the American Express Business Gold in the past, but if you are looking for another card to add to your next applications, 30,000 points and free Amazon Prime membership isn’t a bad deal.

Keep in mind though, that Amex has a 12 month rule.  You can’t get another American Express OPEN business card if you’re applied for one in the past 12 months.

Disclosure: The credit card link is provided as a courtesy. I do not receive a commission on credit cards.

Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best card for beginning travel hackers. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points (after spending $4,000 in the first three months).

My favorite perks about this card are earning 2X points on travel and dining, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.

Chase Freedom Unlimited

The Chase Freedom Unlimited is one of my favorite cards for earning cash back card and travel rewards. It offers a welcome offer of $200 (after spending $500 in the first three months).

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5% cash back at grocery stores the first 12 months (up to $12k), unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases and no annual fee. When paired with cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, you can use your points to travel for free.

I too love Amazon Prime. You can also get many free books and movies for your Kindle. I don’t have a kindle, but have the Kindle ap on my iPad and on my phone.

      Hey Kiki,

Great tip! I didn’t realize that you could get the free Kindle downloads if using an app. I thought you had to have an actual Kindle. Thanks
