You'll get 5% cash back on all your purchases at gas stations and Kohl's (up to $1,500) between July 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015. The maximum cash back you can get is $75 cash back (7,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points).

1. Enter your last name, the last 4 digits of your Chase Freedom card, and your zip code on the Chase website and click the green "Activate Now" button by September 14, 2015.

You'll receive a confirmation showing your Chase Freedom card has been activated.

Or log into your Chase account and click the "Activate now" link under your Chase Freedom information.

How to Get the Most Cash Back

Pump up your points while you're at the pump by buying variable load Visa and MasterCard gift cards. Not all gas stations carry variable load gift cards.

If your gas station doesn't sell variable load gift cards you can also buy store and restaurants gift cards.

You can buy gift cards to other places like stores, restaurants, and movie theaters at Kohl's.
