I booked a suite at the Park Hyatt Saigon using points to get the 1,000 point bonus per night. Ben, my non-Globalist friend, stayed at a different hotel booked through Hotels.com.
Hotels.com has a great rewards program: you get a free night after your 10th stay. Consider it an automatic 10% back in addition to Hotels.com’s already low rates and Special Prices.
With their loyalty program, you don’t have to stay at the same hotel brand. Stay 10 nights, get 1 free. You can mix up cheap stays with expensive stays.
There’s no limit to the number of free nights you can earn. Hotels.com takes the average cost of your 10 nights and that’s the value of your free night.
For someone who doesn’t have hotel elite status, this is a great way to get free hotel nights and save a lot of money.
This is also a great way to book hotels in areas where there are few major hotels. We booked our hotel on Ambergris Caye in Belize through Hotels.com.
20% Back on Hotels with Capital One
But the deal is even better if you have the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card. You get 10x miles when you book through Hotels.com through January 31, 2020.

Conclusion
You can get 20% back on hotel bookings when you book through Hotels.com and pay with your Capital One Venture Rewards or Capital One VentureOne card for reservations through January 31, 2020.
Remember to pay online using your card vs using PayPal or paying after checkout otherwise you won’t earn the bonus.
This is a pretty good deal considering their generous rewards program of 1 night free after 10 nights.
