You can get great deals on travel, if you act fast.
You can buy Daily Getaways at 1pm EST Monday to Friday until June 20, 2014. Sometimes you can get in on a pre-sale at Noon EST by liking a Facebook page.
There’s only a limited number of Daily Getaways travel deals available.
You get an additional 10% off when you use your American Express card.
Daily Getaways great offers for weeks 3 and 4
Here’s a quick summary of the best Daily Getaways offers for June 4, 2014 to June 13, 2014.
You can get the best deals from the Daily Getaways I’ve marked as a “GREAT OFFER.”
Week 3:
Wednesday, June 4, 2014: Hyatt Points
- 24,000 points for $260
- 30,000 points for $330
- 40,000 points for $415
- 72,000 points for $775
GREAT OFFER: Any of the Hyatt point packages
You can use Hyatt points at any Hyatt hotel
You don’t have to use the points as described in the Daily Getaways package.
Instead of using 2 nights at a Hyatt premium hotel (Category 3 hotel) for $260, like the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach, you can use the 24,000 points for 4 nights at the 5 star beachfront Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort in Malaysia.
Or instead of spending 3 nights in a suite for $775, you could spend 6 nights at the Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal (daily breakfast included) and take the family to Disneyworld, Universal Studios and SeaWorld Florida.
Thursday, June 5, 2014: IHG Points
- 15,000 Points for $100 (You can buy up to 5 sets of points)
- 25,000 Points for $167 (You can buy up to 4 sets of points)
- 50,000 Points for $325 (You can buy up to 4 sets of points)
- 100,000 Points for $630 (You can buy up to 3 sets of points)
GREAT OFFER: 100,000 points for $630
If you use the 100,000 IHG points to book a PointsBreak offer, you can get 20 nights in Fiji for $630.
Or you could spend 4 nights each in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
You could even spend 10 romantic weekends in the United States.
Week 4:
I didn’t see any great offers, but there are a couple that could be good offers.
Monday, June 9, 2014: Marriott gift cards
You can save 10% on Marriott gift cards. But they can’t be used for advance purchase reservations.
Thursday, June 12, 2014: Avis
You can buy a one-day Avis car rental certificate for $33. But depending where you rent, it might be cheaper to wait until you’re renting a car versus buying a prepaid certificate.
