Earn Double Elite Nights at Hyatt Ziva & Hyatt Zilara

Share with a friend

If you were thinking about staying at a Hyatt all-inclusive hotel, you can earn double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara. This could help you reach elite status sooner. Or earn elite status if you don’t already have elite status from Hyatt.

But is this offer worth it? Let’s take a look.

Earn Double Elite Nights at Hyatt Ziva & Hyatt Zilara

romantic couple on white sand beach

You’ll earn double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara for stays from August 1 through November 23, 2019.

Each night counts towards two elite night credits. This means you can earn elite status or requalify faster:

  • Discoverist elite status after 10 nights (5 nights during this offer)
  • Explorist elite status after 30 nights (15 nights during this offer)
  • Globalist elite status after 60 nights (30 nights during this offer)

Pro-tip: Discoverist status earned from the World of Hyatt credit card is an honorary status. It doesn’t jump start you towards Explorist and Globalist status. Meaning even with the credit card you have to stay 30 nights for Explorist and 60 nights for Globalist.

Both paid and award nights using points and/or free night certificates qualify as a stay during this promotion.

Existing reservations count so you don’t have to rebook.

There’s no limit to the number of double elite nights you can earn. The only restriction: you can only earn double elite nights on one room per night. So if you book two rooms you’ll only earn double elite status for one room.

Registration by October 31, 2019 is required.

Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Hotels

Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara hotels are part of the World of Hyatt’s all-inclusive hotel collection located in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the US (Miraval inclusive hotels):

  • Hyatt Zilara Cancun
  • Hyatt Ziva Cancun
  • Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic (opening November 1, 2019)
  • Hyatt Ziva Dominican Republic (opening November 1, 2019)
  • Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos
  • Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica
  • Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica
  • Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

Hyatt Ziva hotels are family-friendly. But you can stay there without kids in tow. We stayed in the adults-only Turquoise Tower section at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun in May without our boys (although they’re now adults). I highly recommend the TT and would do stay here again.

If you want a completely adult-only all-inclusive experience, you should choose a Hyatt Zilara hotel.

Free award nights start at 20,000 points per night and include double occupancy. So it’s a great value considering all your food, drinks, tips, and most activities are included.

If you’re short on Hyatt points you can instantly transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points on a 1:1 ratio from the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card, Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, and Ink Business Cash® Credit Card.

Is This Offer Worth It

This offer is worth it if you can make it work with your travel plans.

You might be able to combine this with the 10% rebate offer for World of Hyatt cardholders. However, the fine print says it can’t be combined. But it doesn’t hurt to try.

If you’re planning a stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, the Dominican Republic hotels scheduled to open on November 1, 2019, this could get you to elite status right before the end of the year. But there could be a chance that the hotels might not open on time.

Double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara earned count as earned nights vs bonus nights. This means that they’ll count towards milestone awards like free night certificates.

Pro-tip: The Category 1 to 7 free night award earned for 60 nights expires in six months. So you should time your stay to maximize the use of the certification.

Something to keep in mind. The double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara offer period is during hurricane season (June to November). This could be a make or break point for some people.

Summary of the Fine Print

  • You have to be a World of Hyatt member. You can join for free.
  • Earn double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara for stays from August 1 to November 23, 2019
  • Registration required by October 31, 2019
  • Nights count towards earning milestone rewards
  • Offer not valid with other offers, promotions or discounts

Conclusion

You’ll earn double elite nights at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara for stays from August 1 through November 23, 2019.

This a great way to earn elite status faster. Because the double elite nights count towards milestone awards, you can earn extra free nights, suite upgrades, and more.

I’m excited about this offer. I already have one Hyatt Ziva booked during this promo period and am considering booking another stay.

But you have to register by October 31, 2019.
