On a recent trip to Vegas for a girls spa getaway, we loved our day at the Canyon Ranch Spa at The Palazzo Resort, but it was pricey. We wanted massages so I found a hidden treasure: European Massage School.
Before our Vegas trip I spent hours looking for the best place for us to get pampered on a budget and read reviews of every Las Vegas day spa. When I say every, I mean EVERY.
It was important to find a location that was clean, had positives ratings, and wasn’t a sketchy place.
Because that wasn’t what we went to Las Vegas for and the last thing you need when you’re trying to relax is for a raid. Because how are you going to explain that to your spouse? It’s not liked getting kicked out of a casino.
“Umm, honey, I’m in a jail. I got arrested in a massage parlor bust.”
Yeah, not on my bucket list. Correct me if I’m wrong, not on yours either.
Discovering European Massage Therapy School was a wonderful find. One that I am so glad I found and can not wait to go back again! It’s such a great deal that I almost didn’t write this post for fear of not being able to get an appointment.
European Massage School
European Massage Therapy School is the spa the Vegas Casino Spas don’t want you to know about!
The nationally accredited massage therapy school with locations in Las Vegas and Chicago. The Vegas campus is 20 minutes from the Strip. They also offer online classes.
Located in a strip mall behind IHOP, parking is plentiful.
Pro-tip: If you plan on visiting several times like we did, it’s cheaper to rent a car than using Uber.
Especially when you stay at a hotel like the Hyatt Place Las Vegas that offers free parking and no resort fees.
If you have more time than money you can take the Deuce Bus from the Strip to the Monorail station. From there take the SX-B Sahara Express Westbound bus to Fort Apache and walk four minutes to the spa.
The residential 202 Flamingo bus route is another option to save money as it only a couple of short Uber rides.
I’m all for saving money. But the last thing I’d want to do after a relaxing massage is to hop on and spend an hour on a public bus getting back to my hotel.

European Massage School is one of the best places for a professional massage in Las Vegas.
And best of all, it’s inexpensive! Because massage therapists students perform all services as part of their student clinic to learn their craft.
The school offers a variety of services including cupping, acupressure, reflexology, and six types of massage therapy:

- Hot Stone Massage

- Trigger Point Therapy
- Chair Massage
Forget about traveling to Thailand or Bali for cheap spa treatments. The massage prices are the lowest I’ve ever paid for a professional massage in the United States.
All massages are the same price: $30 for a 50-minute massage and $45 for an 80-minute massage.

Swedish Massage
I booked two Swedish Massages and my friend booked two Deep Tissue Massages. We would have booked more but we were only in Vegas for three days.
Don’t let the look of the building and lobby fool you. The treatment rooms are private, clean, have a professional folding massage table topped with sheets and a light blanket.
There are at least 10 treatment rooms so you can bring a group for a gal’s weekend, bachelorette party, or bachelor party.
My first student therapist was fantastic. She knew how to apply the proper pressure to sort out all the kinks and knots in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. I would ask for her again in a heartbeat. And wanted to book her the next day for my massage before my flight but she was a night student. 🙁
The second therapist was just okay. While she did take care to ask if the pressure was fine, she handled my limbs like pieces of meat. Flipping my arms and legs like sides of bacon. She was nice but I wouldn’t want another massage from her again.
My friend had a similar experience. She enjoyed the massage from the first masseuse. But her second treatment was disappointing.
