Looking for a quick Caribbean getaway? Southwest is offering flights from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan for $89 each way.

You could do several of these if you need to reach Southwest's A-List or A-List+ elite status level.

So you could reach elite status for $2,230.

I found several flights for $89 each way. Even one right after FTU Tampa.

However, you can't do same day turns.

Each time I tried to book the return flight on the same day, the Southwest system wouldn't let me, giving me this error message.
