You can get a free rental from Silvercar

Disclosure:  If you sign-up for Silvercar using my referral link, we both receive $25.

Silvercar is a rental car company that takes the hassle out of renting a car.  Silvercar only rents silver Audi A4s at select locations:

Each Audi A4 is equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS, and SiriusXM satellite radio all of which is included in the cost of your rental. Plus they pick you up at the airport.  How convenient is that!

And for a flat $5 (plus the cost of gas) you can return the car empty.  No rushing around trying to find a gas station and refueling before your flight.

In celebrating of opening the Chicago location at O’Hare, Silvercar is offering a free rental day at all Silvercar locations in the US on rentals of 2 days or longer when you use promo code “COMEDY”.

Silvercar is also giving away tickets to the Second Annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival After-Shows at the Virgin Hotel from May 26, 2015 to May 30, 2015 when you RSVP at Silvercar.com/comedy.

$59 a Day Rentals and More

Because most people rent a car for multiple days, you’re in luck.  Because all Silvercar rentals in Chicago are only $59 a day through the end of July – no promo code required (taxes are additional).

And if you’ve never rented from Silvercar, you get 1 free day with a reservation of two days or more using promo code “ORDFREE”.  This is stackable with the $59 a day promotion!

Haven’t created a Silvercar account? If you use my referral link (or referral code: DSCHROEDER) to sign-up, we’ll both earn $25 after your first Silvercar rental.  Yep, $25 cash.  Plus after you register, you’ll get your own referral link to share with others.

Want to drop your rental cost to $34 a day?  Use my referral code and get $25, get 1 free day with a 2 day rental using “ORDFREE”, and your total cost for your second day is only $34 ($59 – $25).

Conclusion

You can get a free 1 day car rental at any Silvercar location in the US on rentals of two days or longer when you use promo code “COMEDY”.

Sorry hit send too quickly as I had another question. Does Silver post as a Travel transaction for redeeming on cards that allow that? Thanks!

Hi Devon,

No worries. :)

Yes, Silvercar posts as a travel transaction so you can use redeem points from your Barclaycard Arrival Plus or Capital One card.

If you use your Chase Ultimate Rewards card, you'll earn 2X Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Great post! One thing readers should know, taxes and fees can be anywhere from $9-$15 extra per day. It's not huge but can add up quickly.

Tried to use COMEDY, says booking has to be two or more days to be valid. So looks like it's the same as ORDFREE?

Hi William Charles,

Well, that's a bummer. Silvercar should have mentioned that. Thanks for letting me know. I'll update the post.
