Whether you’re vacationing or traveling for work, paying for daily Wi-Fi at your hotel adds up. But you can avoid paying for hotel internet and get online for free. Here’s how to get free internet at hotels.

Hotels With Free Wi-Fi

Most hotels offer free Wi-Fi in the common areas like the lobby and lounges. But who wants to have sit in the lobby to check email?

Like you, I’d rather surf the internet whenever I want and wearing whatever I want in the comfort of my hotel room. That’s why being able to get free in-room Wi-Fi is a huge deal.

But not all hotels offer in-room Wi-Fi for free. Thankfully, you get free Wi-Fi at these hotels.

1.  Best Western

Free in-room Wi-Fi, ocean views, and free breakfast at the Best Western Plus Beach View Lodge

Free in-room Wi-Fi is included when you stay at Best Western and Best Western Plus hotels. And you also get free breakfast!

2.  Choice

Surf the internet from your room before you hit the surf at the Comfort Suites Huntington Beach

You get free in-room internet when you stay at:

• Cambria Suites
• Clarion
• Comfort Inn
• Comfort Suites
• EconoLodge
• MainStay Suites
• Quality Inn
• Rodeway Inn (most locations)
• Sleep Inn
• Suburban

And at several Choice hotels like Comfort Inn and EconoLodge free breakfast is included.

3.  Club Carlson

Get online for free in or out of your room at Radisson hotels like the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji

Free in-room internet used to be limited to Club Carlson loyalty program members. But now all guests at these Club Carlson hotels get free in-room Wi-Fi:

• Country Inn & Suites (and you get free breakfast)
• Park Inn
• Park Plaza
• Radisson
• Radisson Blu
• Radisson Red

Not all hotels have free Wi-Fi so double check your hotel.

4.  Hilton

Check-in for your flight from your room at Home2 Suites San Antonio Airport

You can get free Wi-Fi in you room at these Hilton hotels:

• Home2 Suites

If you’re a Hilton HHonors member and book directly with Hilton you get free in-room internet at all Hilton hotels.

Free internet is included at all Hyatt hotels:

• Grand Hyatt

• Hyatt House

Breakfast is included for free at Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Zilara, and Hyatt Ziva.

Save on your trips with free internet at Choice hotels like Even Hotels – Times Square

You can get free in-room Wi-Fi when you stay at these IHG hotels:

• Candlewood Suites
• EVEN Hotels
• Holiday Inn
• Holiday Inn Express
• Hotel Indigo
• Staybridge Suites

And Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites hotels gives you free hot breakfast. If you’re an IHG Rewards member your in-room internet is free at all IHG hotels.

7.  Loews Hotels & Resorts

Everyone staying at Loews gets free in-room internet.

8.  Marriott

Complimentary in-room internet at all Springhill Suites

You get free in-room Wi-Fi and free breakfast at these Marriott hotels:

• Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott (hot breakfast)
• Residence Inn by Marriott (continental breakfast)
• SpringHill Suites by Marriott (continental breakfast)
• TownePlace Suites by Marriott (hot breakfast)

To get free internet in your room at all other Marriott hotels, you have to be a Marriott Rewards member and book directly with Marriott.

9.  Starwood

Members of GHA get free Wi-Fi at all GHA hotels.

Hilton Honors members who book through Hilton get free in-room Wi-Fi at all Hilton hotels like the Hilton San Francisco Union Square

You get free Wi-Fi in your hotel room if you’re a Hilton HHonors member and you book directly with Hilton:

You’re probably want to leave your room when you stay at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort but in case you sleep in, you can get online for free

You get free Wi-Fi in your room at all Marriott hotels if you’re a Marriott Rewards member and you reserve your room through Marriot.

6.  Starwood

SPG Members get free in-room Wi-Fi

If you’re a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program and make your reservation through Starwood in-room internet is free.

Conclusion

Many hotels offer free Wi-Fi. But fewer hotels offer complimentary in-room Wi-Fi.  But you don’t have to pay for in-room internet if you know which hotels offer free in-room Wi-Fi.

You get free internet at all Best Western, Club Carlson, Hyatt, and Loews hotels.

To get free in-room Wi-Fi at Hilton, Marriott and Starwood you have to be a member of their loyalty program and make your reservation with the hotel.

And at some hotels you can get free in-room Wi-Fi and breakfast.
