Want status with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club with a simple click of your mouse?

Enroll via this link – http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/frequentflyer/microsite/default/regonline/step1.jsp?campaign_code=FCD12, and get silver status on Virgin Atlantic.  (HT:View From The Wing)

1 Easy Step to Free Silver Status on Virgin Atlantic

  1. Enroll via the link.

I’m not sure how long the link will be valid so get it while the getting is good.

Benefits of Silver Status in Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club:

  • Premium Check In
  • 50% extra base miles
  • Front of the “line” for sold out flights

I debated if I was going to go for the free status, but I have an upcoming trip to Dublin and could use Virgin Atlantic and the status will be helpful.

After entering my Flying Club number and answering the security questions, my account was instantly upgraded to Silver, but Flying Club gave me a new membership number.

And yes, I put in my existing Flying Club number versus applying for a new one.

Thankfully, my miles and points carried over with the new number, although I’m not sure why I was issued a new one.  Maybe a way to track those who use the link?

If you do the instant status, I’d love to know if your Flying Club number gets changed.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is the best card to get started in the world of miles and points. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5X points on travel when booked through the Chase portal (2X if direct purchase), 3X points on dining, $50 yearly credit on hotels booked through the Chase portal, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.

Chase Freedom Unlimited®

The Chase Freedom Unlimited® is one of my favorite cards for earning cash back card and travel rewards. It offers a welcome offer of an additional 1.5% cash back on all your purchases up to $20,000 your first year.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5% cash back on travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal, 3% cash back at drugstores and restaurants (including delivery and takeout), 1.5% cash back on all other purchases and no annual fee. When paired with cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card or Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, you can use your points to travel for free.

I'm just concerned that the miles from the VA cc won't post correctly now. And I'd hate to call cause you know how that goes...
