Get 5X Ultimate Rewards Shipping US Mail Traveling Well For Less

You can earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points shipping via USPS at Staples

You can earn 5X Ultimate Rewards shipping US mail at Staples.

When I was buying Vons and Albertsons gift cards at Staples I noticed the US Post Office sign on the outside of the building.

Staples and the US Post Office is partnering to bring the post office into participating Staples stores.

You can go to Staples to mail your things instead of waiting in line at the post office and get 5X Ultimate Rewards points when you use your Chase Ink Bold or Chase Ink Plus.

You can send letters, packages, and ship things overnight.  You can even ship internationally.

And you will pay the same rates at Staples shipping USPS that you would at the post office.

Not all Staples will have a USPS location so be sure and check the list or call your local Staples.  It looks like the initial roll out is limited to California stores.

You can still ship via UPS station, but you will not be able to print your labels at Staples. Now Staples will only be a UPS drop off location so you have to print your labels at home.

This is a great option because the lines at the post office get really long during the holidays and tax season. Not only will the lines be shorter at Staples, but getting 5X Ultimate Rewards for sending things via the mail is a total win!

I know I’ll be mailing more things at Staples, how about you?

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is the best card to get started in the world of miles and points. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5X points on travel when booked through the Chase portal (2X if direct purchase), 3X points on dining, $50 yearly credit on hotels booked through the Chase portal, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.

Chase Freedom Unlimited®

The Chase Freedom Unlimited® is one of my favorite cards for earning cash back card and travel rewards. It offers a welcome offer of an additional 1.5% cash back on all your purchases up to $20,000 your first year.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5% cash back on travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal, 3% cash back at drugstores and restaurants (including delivery and takeout), 1.5% cash back on all other purchases and no annual fee. When paired with cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card or Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, you can use your points to travel for free.
