Unlimited free flights for your companion? Yes, please! Here’s how to earn a Southwest Companion Pass after one flight.

The Southwest Companion Pass is THE best companion pass of any airline. With a Companion Pass your buddy can fly free with you on any Southwest flight as often as they like.

Your companion can join you on flights several times a day, once a day, several times a week, or once a week. There are no limits to how often your companion can fly with you on Southwest when you have a Southwest Companion Pass.

Their only cost is airport taxes which are about $6 per airport in the United States.

You can fly to over 110 cities in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America such as  Hawaii, Cancun, and Belize.

Pro-tip: Use your Southwest Companion Pass to get to a gateway city for cheap flights to Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific.

Earning a Southwest Companion Pass is easy. You can earn 125,000 points in a calendar year or fly 100 one way flights.

The Southwest Companion Pass is valid for the year you earn it and through the end of the following year. When you time it right, you can get two years of free flights for your companion.

Your companion can be anyone: your spouse, child, family member, or friend.

Pro-tip: You can change your companion three times a year.

The Companion Pass is great for families. Each parent can earn a Southwest Companion Pass and add a child as their companion. This allows your entire family to travel for free.
