Hyatt Has It Convenience Collection

Hyatt Has It Convenience Collection

Last night I found a 4 x 8 card titled “HYATT has it Convenience Collection” on the desk in my room at the Hyatt Regency Irvine.

Having stayed 24 nights at Hyatt this year, this was the first time I had seen this card at any of the Hyatt and Hyatt brands where I’ve stayed.

I didn’t get a chance to try out the services of Hyatt has it Convenience Collection last night, and wasn’t sure if it was something new  and limited to the Hyatt Regency Irvine so I was pleasantly surprised to see the same card tonight in my room at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla.

Per the instructions on the card I dialed “0” to order my “supplies”.  Since this is a brand new service that just rolled out yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kelly, the director of Housekeeping at Hyatt Regency La Jolla.

Some of the items (item list below) are standard room amenities while others are included in Regency Club rooms and Suites.

As a Diamond member I’m in a Regency Club room so I ordered things that weren’t in my room nor could get from the Regency Club.

Hyatt offers two types of room delivery:

  1. Within 15 minutes
  2. Private deliver service – where the item/s you’ve ordered are placed in a hanging bag and left on your doorknob

The service thus far still has a few kinks to work out: the comb and hair brush were out of stock, all the tea kettles were already in use, and I’m still waiting formy shoe horn and shoe mitt. But overall, it’s a great new feature and I’m impressed with the handling and delivery.

Definitely looking forward to utilizing Hyatt Has It Convenience Collection for my next Hyatt stay.
