Registration is now open for IHG Rewards Big Win promotion. The promotion is valid for stays between January 1 to April 30, 2014.
2 Easy Steps to Earn lots of Points in the Big Win
1. Register for the Big Win promotion here.
2. Complete your offers
You could earn a minimum of 50,000 points during the 2013 Big Win promotion. But this year, according to Loyalty Lobby, you’ll only earn a minimum of 31,000 points.
The number of points you can earn during the Big Win will depend on your stay history with IHG. So each member gets a personalized offer.
Last time my offers was for 59,000 points. This time I can earn 84,000 points.
Not only can I get more points this time, but my offers are slightly different.
Stay more and earn – if I stay 5 nights I’ll earn 12,600 points
Start the day off right – if I book a Best Flexible Rate with breakfast, I’ll get 3,000 points.
Win in a weekend – booking 2 Saturday nights will get me 12,000 points
IHG mobile app booking – when I book 2 stays through the IHG app, I’ll get 7,200 points.
Stay smart – when I stay at two different Holiday Inns, I’ll get 7,200 points.
Win big – My bonus for completing all 5 offers is 42,000 points.
The offers can be combined. I could get all 84,000 points by staying only 5 nights.
Assuming a rate of $100 a night with taxes, it would cost me $500 to earn 84,000 points.
It could be worthy of a mattress run. Especially since there are Holiday Inns in some of the cities I’m traveling to during the promotion period.
