Radisson 1 For 1

Get one night free after you stay one night with Radisson during the Radisson 1 For 1 promotion.

RADISSON® 1 FOR 1
Stay One Night, Get One Night

Simply be one of the first 50,000 Club Carlson members to register for the Radisson® 1 for 1 promotion and you will be eligible for a Free Night Award at any Radisson or Radisson Blu hotel in the US, Canada or Caribbean.

3 Easy Steps to a Free Night Through Radisson 1 For 1:

  1. Register for the Radisson 1 For 1 promotion.
    • You have to be a Club CarlsonSM member to register. Not a member? Join Club Carlson.
  2. Book your qualifying stay online at www.radisson.com or www.clubcarlson.com at any Radisson Blu or Radisson hotel in the US, Canada or Caribbean between October 1 and October 31, 2012.
  3. Stay at any Radisson or Radisson Blu hotel in the US, Canada or Caribbean between October 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012.

While this isn’t as lucrative as the Radisson Big Night Giveaway promotion launched earlier this year (read my post about the Radisson Big Night Giveaway promotion), the Radisson 1 For 1 is still a worthwhile promotion for you to consider.

However, there are some things to keep in mind.

Summation of the fine print:

  1. Registration is required.
  2. The Free Night Award can only be used at a Radisson or Radisson Blu hotel in the US, Canada or Caribbean.
  3. Free Night Award is only eligible on standard rooms.
  4. The Free Night Award expires December 31, 2013.
  5. You can NOT use your Free Night Award in connection with your qualifying stay.
  6. Free Night Award will be received 14 days after your qualifying stay.  So time your stay in advance before you need or want to use your Free Night.
  7. You must book your qualifying stay online via www.radisson.com or www.clubcarlson.com.
  8. Only eligible rates apply. (Employee rates, family and friend rates, airline crew rates, travel agent rates, hotel employee rates, room rates that are billed on a master bill, tour operator rates, wholesaler rates, or rates booked through online travel companies or other third parties in which you pay for that booking directly to such online travel company or third party. Complimentary rooms, including but not limited to rooms booked as Award Night stays, or stays involving other gift certificate or free night vouchers are excluded.)
  9. Points plus cash rate qualifies if it’s booked via www.radisson.com or www.clubcarlson.com.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is the best card to get started in the world of miles and points. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5X points on travel when booked through the Chase portal (2X if direct purchase), 3X points on dining, $50 yearly credit on hotels booked through the Chase portal, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.

Chase Freedom Unlimited®

The Chase Freedom Unlimited® is one of my favorite cards for earning cash back card and travel rewards. It offers a welcome offer of an additional 1.5% cash back on all your purchases up to $20,000 your first year.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5% cash back on travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal, 3% cash back at drugstores and restaurants (including delivery and takeout), 1.5% cash back on all other purchases and no annual fee. When paired with cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card or Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, you can use your points to travel for free.
