All three Southwest credit cards: card_name, card_name, and card_name are offering 50,000 points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months.

Best of all, all these points count towards the Southwest Companion Pass. When you time it right, you can get fly free for two years!

Pro-tip:  Wait until the end of December to complete your minimum spending.

Your points count towards the Companion Pass in the year they’re earned. Your pass is valid for the year you earned it and the following year.

If you wait until December to use your card, your points will post in 2018. And your Southwest Companion Pass will be valid for all 2018 and 2019 = two years.

card_name is the best card to get started in the world of miles and points. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.

My favorite perks about this card are earning 5X points on travel when booked through the Chase portal (2X if direct purchase), 3X points on dining, $50 yearly credit on hotels booked through the Chase portal, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.
