Hilton hotels and resorts wants to help you start your summer off right by offering triple points in their Hilton HHonors Triple Your Trip promotion.

Getting a jumpstart on the competition and launching their Quarter 3 promotion early, Hilton is offering double and triple points at participating hotels and resorts for stays during July 1 – September 30, 2012.

You’ll earn triple points for stays on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

You’ll earn double points for stays on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Here’s how:

1) Register for the Triple Your Trip promotion prior to checkout of your stay during the promotion period (July 1 – September 30, 2012).

2) Book and stay at participating Hilton hotels and resorts.  Be sure and check the list of nonparticipating Hilton hotels and resorts.

3) Enjoy your stay and then check your account for the double or triple points to post.

I’m excited and bummed about this promotion.  I have a lengthly stay at Hilton during the promotion period, but the Hilton I’m staying at  is not participating so I won’t be earning double and triple points.

On the other hand, in light Hilton’s Triple Your Trip promotion and our summer travel plans, I’m considering changing our hotel accommodations.
