But you'll need 12,000 points for a free night starting 9:01 pm Central Time today. Because it's going to be a Category 3 hotel.

What Happens to Existing Reservations?
If you made or make a reservation before 9 pm Central Time today, your existing reservation will not be affected. Your booking will follow the current award chart.
