And all applicants (new and those who've had the Marriott Rewards Premier card in the past) get 1 free night in a Category 1 to 5 Marriott hotel each year on your card anniversary.
You get the free night certificates within 6 to 8 weeks after approval. Because they expire within 6 months, you should use them quickly.
Plus the $85 annual fee is waived for the first year.
