You can earn 500 bonus points per night at Hyatt hotels around the world through September 30, 2019.

Unlike the double elite night promo registration isn’t required.

Although the offer states you’ll earn 500 bonus points per night, the fine print disagrees. It’s really 500 points per stay.

So a two night stay at the same hotel will only earn 500 bonus points instead of 1,000 points.

There’s no limit to how many points you can earn. But you can only earn points for one room per stay.

Pro-tip: Both paid and award stays (points and/or free night stays) qualify to earn the bonus points.

How to Maximize This Offer

You can maximize this offer by doing one night stands and bouncing hotels.

For multiple night stays, by breaking up your stay into single nights you’ll earn more points.

Instead of booking two nights at the Hyatt House San Jose Airport and earning 500 bonus points, you should book one night at the Hyatt House San Jose Airport and the next night at the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport. This way you earn double the points, 1,000 points for your two night stay.

Summary of the Fine Print

  • Earn 500 bonus points per stay at participating Hyatt hotels
  • Must be a World of Hyatt member
  • Can only earn points for one room per stay
  • Points will post 3 to 4 weeks after your stay
  • Limited number of rooms at each hotel are eligible for this offer

Conclusion

You can earn 500 bonus points per night at Hyatt on stays at select hotels worldwide through September 30, 2019.

Chase Sapphire Preferred

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best card for beginning travel hackers. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points (after spending $4,000 in the first three months).

My favorite perks about this card are earning 2X points on travel and dining, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.
