Ends Soon: Get a 40% Bonus on Hyatt Points

Share with a friend

Hopefully, you haven’t already blown your holiday spending budget during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Because this deal ends soon: get a 40% bonus on Hyatt points.

And when I say soon, I mean at 11:59 pm ET today, November 27, 2018.

Ends Soon: Get a 40% Bonus on Hyatt Points

You’ll get a 40% bonus on Hyatt points when you buy Hyatt points by tonight at 11:59 pm ET, November 27, 2018.

Use the link and log into your World of Hyatt account. To get the bonus you have to buy at least 10,000 points and no more than 55,000 points.

You can buy 55,000 points a year from Hyatt and the bonus points do not count.

Pro-tip: When you buy points it doesn’t count towards World of Hyatt elite status nor towards your lifetime base points.

Should You Buy Hyatt Points?

There are a few times you should buy hotel points. Purchase points when there’s a sale can be a great deal as long as the math works out.

Plus it’s a good way to meet minimum spending on new credit cards.

Normally Hyatt points cost 2.4 cents per point. With this offer, you can buy points for 1.71 cents per point.

Free nights at Hyatt start at 5,000 points a night. So buying points makes sense if you travel during the holidays, summer, and other peak times when rooms are expensive.

With the 40% bonus, you could buy 77,000 Hyatt points for $1,320. That’s 15 free nights at a Category 1 hotel like the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta in Indonesia. Or 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Maldives.

Buying points on sales help you earn elite status faster because award nights count towards elite status.

Pro-tip: You can earn free nights for spending if you’ve upgraded to the new Hyatt card.

Conclusion

You can get a 40% bonus on Hyatt points when you buy points by 11:59 PM ET tonight, November 27, 2018.

Buying points is easy: use this link and log into your World of Hyatt account, choose how many points you want to buy and enter your credit card information.

You have to buy at least 10,000 points to get the 40% bonus. The most points you can buy each year is 55,000 points.

Buying points can save a lot of money on your hotel room if you travel during the holidays, summer, or stay at expensive hotels. Because it’s cheaper to buy points and use them for your hotel instead of paying cash for your room.
