With free nights starting at 10,000 points per night, you could get 12 free nights from the bonus.

Pro-tip: Because you get the 4th night free, you can get 15 free nights at a Category 1 hotel from the 165,000 point bonus. Or if used for a Points Break award (5,000 points per night), you could get 25 nights! Or 31 nights if you use the fourth night free option.

Should You Get This Card

If you were thinking about getting the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card now is the time.

The previous 125,000 point offer required you to spend $5,000. With this new offer, you earn 140,000 points and 1 Free Night after only spending $3,000. Update: This offer has ended. The new offer is 140,000 points.

A $100 a night hotel room will earn you 4,000 points for each night. So you can easily earn enough points to keep you in free nights for a long time.

Pro-tip: The IHG card is subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule. So if you’ve opened five or more cards in the past 24 months you could get denied. But YMMV (your miles may vary).

Conclusion

The IHG One Rewards Premier credit card offer is a great deal if you stay at IHG hotels. And the best thing…you don’t have to stay at IHG hotels all the time. Even the occasional stay pays off big time.

And when you use the card to pay for stays at IHG hotels you’ll earn up to 26 points for every dollar spent. You’ll earn 5X points on travel, restaurant, and gas purchases.

Plus 3X points on all other purchases. The points add up quickly so you can earn more free nights.

You also get the fourth night free when you use points for stays of fourth nights or more.
