Last Chance: Get up to 50% More JetBlue Points

Share with a friend

If you’re short JetBlue points for an award ticket, this is your last chance to get up to 50% more JetBlue points.

When you fly JetBlue your ticket includes a bunch of free stuff: snacks, drinks, movies, Wi-Fi, and more! Every plane has Wi-Fi so you can stay connected on every flight.

JetBlue points never expire so if you have to stop traveling because you’re pregnant or your work schedule changes, your points will wait for you. Pretty cool, huh?

Plus you can pool points aka share points.

That said if you’re starting to make travel plans and want to use your JetBlue points but need just a bit more, you can get up to a 50% bonus when you buy JetBlue points.

Last Chance: Get up to 50% More JetBlue Points

You can get up to 50% more JetBlue points when you buy points by November 22, 2018.

The bonus is tiered depending on how many TrueBlue points you buy:

  • 3,ooo to 9,500 points: get 20% more points
  • 10,000 to 19,500 points: get 30% more points
  • 20,000 to 29,500 points: get 40% more points
  • 30,000 points: get 50% more points

You can buy a maximum of 30,000 points per transaction and up to 120,000 points per year.

So if you plan on buying 120,000 points, you’d have to make four separate transactions.

TrueBlue points normally cost 3.8 cents per point. But with this promotion, you can buy points for as little as 1.97 cents.

With the 50% bonus, when you buy 30,000 points you get an additional 15,000 points for a total of 45,000 points for @ $887.

It can take up to 72 hours for points to post to your account. So plan on buying points at least 3 days before redeeming them for flights.

Pro-tip: Buying points don’t count towards Mosaic status.

Should You Buy JetBlue Points?

Is this the only time you should buy airline miles? It depends.

TrueBlue points never expire, so you don’t need to buy points to keep your account active.

If you’re short on points to book a flight, it could worth buying some points now to get that ticket.

But probably not the best idea to buy points just because there’s a sale.

Pro-tip: When you purchase points the transaction is run through Points.com so it doesn’t count as a travel purchase. So you won’t earn extra points by using a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. Some people have gotten 3x points when paying with their Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card. Because you earn 3x points on the first $150,000 spent on travel and select business categories. The best bet is to use whichever credit card you have to finish minimum spending.

Conclusion

This is your last chance to get up to 50% more JetBlue points when you buy points by November 22, 2018.

Your exact bonus depends on how many points you purchase. You’ll get at least 20% more points if you buy 3,000 points.

JetBlue lets you buy up to 30,000 points per transaction and up to 120,000 points per year. So if you want to buy 120,000 TrueBlue points now, you can do so if you buy them in four separate transactions.

If you’re short points to book a flight, it could be worth buying JetBlue points now. But not a good idea to just buy to stock up on points because they never expire.
