Planning on staying at a Hilton hotel next year? You should register for their newest promotion: Points Unlimited and get 2,000 points per stay at Hilton hotels.
Whether you only have one or two nights booked at Hilton hotels it makes sense to register.
Because free points are free points.
Points Unlimited: Get 2,000 Points per Stay at Hilton Hotels
The new year is approaching and with it comes hotel promos like SLH 3K and Points Unlimited.
With Points Unlimited you earn 2,000 points per stay at Hilton hotels worldwide from January 6 to May 3, 2020.
There’s no limit to how many points you can earn.
But you have to register before your first stay.
After three stays you’ll earn enough points for a free night at Category 1 hotel.
Pro-tip: Your check out date matters.
All checkins before January 6, 2020 count and earn bonus points IF you check out on or after January 6, 2020.
Checkouts after May 3, 2020 will not earn bonus points regardless of the checkin date.
10,000 Points Every 10 Nights
You’ll get an additional 10,000 points every 10 nights. This too is unlimited!
The more stays, the more points earned.
Nights over 10 nights rollover to count towards the next set of 10 nights.
How to Maximize The Points Unlimited Promo
Use Points
You can maximize the Points Unlimited promo when you use points.
Point stays count to earn the 2,000 bonus points per stay. And they count towards earning Hilton elite status.
Pro-tip: Make sure to register for the promotion if you have an award stay during the promo period.
Switch Hotels
You can hack this offer if you switch hotels.
Consecutive nights at the same hotel only count as one stay. So multiple back to back nights stays at one hotel will only earn 2,000 points.
You can earn 2,000 points per night if you switch hotels and book each night at a different hotel. It can be a hassle but might be worth it if there are Hilton hotels near each other.
Pro-tip: When you switch hotels, you’ll earn more points at certain Hilton hotels like Hilton, Embassy Suites, DoubleTree.
Because these hotels give 1,000 bonus points per stay for Hilton Diamond and Hilton Gold members.
Mattress Run
The Points Unlimited promo could be worth of a mattress run if you can find the right hotel and the price is right.
Pro-tip: Some hotels like the Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport have inexpensive rates. I stayed here the first night I arrived in Bali and paid $50.
I could have used 5,000 points instead of paying cash but I have those points earmarked towards a more expensive future redemption so didn’t want to use any points.
