Resorts World Las Vegas offers cashless gaming and cashless purchases throughout the property, including at its food hall, Famous Foods Street Eats. Resorts World is the first casino in Nevada to offer cashless gaming and the only casino in the world providing a cashless experience throughout the resort.

The newest resort on the Las Vegas strip and the first newly built casino since the Cosmopolitan cost $4.3 billion and includes the Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World, Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World, and Crockfords Las Vegas.

Through a partnership with Sightline Payments Play+, Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV) guests can leave their physical wallets behind and experience freedom from the restraints of having to reach into their pocket each time they want to complete a transaction whether it’s on the casino floor or in one of the shops.

How to Set Up a Resorts World Cashless Account

Before using the cashless system, you have to create a Genting Rewards account and download the RWLP app (Apple and Android). Will the app work on older phones? If you can download the app, you can create an account.

Pro-tip: Do this before getting to Las Vegas to save time. Consider doing this while you pack for Vegas.

When in Vegas, visit the loyalty services desk to set up your cashless account. The loyalty services desk is combined with the cashier and located on the casino floor just past the Crockfords Casino and Lounge.

You can load your account with cash, credit card, debit card, or PayPal transfer.

You can load $2,000 a day to your account. High rollers can request a higher load limit after meeting additional Know Your Customer (KYC) program requirements.

Don’t want to blow your entire load each day? You can set a daily spending limit and daily use limits. This is a great feature so that you don’t go on a late-night gambling or eating binge and wake up to an account with a $0 balance.

Pro-tip: You do not have to create a cashless account to gamble at Resorts World Las Vegas. Every gambler I spoke with on opening night, including the ones that won big, put cash in the machine.

Cashless Gaming Fees

You’ll pay a 2.95% load fee every time you fund your cashless account. The fee is the same regardless of which payment method you use to load your account. So a $100 load costs $2.95. If you load the maximum of $2,000 a day, you’ll pay $59 a day in fees.

During Grand Opening week, RWLV offered a $150 bonus when you loaded $1,000 to your account.

Pro-tip: Funding your account with a credit card codes as a cash advance and not a purchase.

I haven’t checked to see if a prepaid debit card will work. If so, this would be a great way to use Visa gift cards instead of money orders.

Pro-tip: PayPal transfers don’t code as a cash advance but still incur the 2.95% load fee.

How to Use Resorts World Cashless Account

You can use your Resorts World cashless account at any venue at Resorts World Las Vegas including slot machines, the food hall, and retail shops except at the sportsbook. Because the Nevada Gaming Control Board has different regulations for sportsbooks.

To access your account when playing slots, insert your loyalty card, scan the QR code, or enter your phone number in the machine.

At the tables, scan your phone to create a QR code.

How to Cash Out Your Cashless Account

When you’re done gambling and ready to head home you can cash out your cashless account. To do so, go to any point of sale (POS) terminal and transfer the money to your bank account.

Pro-tip: With the grand opening $150 bonus for a $1,000 load, after the $29.50 in fees, you cleared $120.50.
