Results of 2017 Reader Survey

This year it’s all about travel tips and travel deals

The top two types of posts you like are travel tips/travel hacks and travel deals.  Posts about miles and points, trip reports and reviews, and credit card information tied for third. A big change from last year’s preference of posts on miles and points, travel tips, and trip reports and reviews.

Blog Changes

1.  Travel Deals

Because everyone who completed the survey said they wanted more travel deals, I’ll start posting them again. But it may mean more than two posts a week…

2.  Two Posts Per Week

All of you said you’re happy with two posts a week. Less is more, I get it. 🙂

For the most part, I’ll stick to keeping your inbox empty. But when there’s a travel deal or something that you should know about sooner vs later, I’m going to post. And I’m assuming you’ll be okay with that. 🙂

3.  Table of Contents

Say good bye to the table of contents. I added the table of contents at the beginning of the year. Because many of you said it makes you skim the posts, you may be missing out on some details. So I’m probably going to trash it.

4.  Credit Card Page

A lot of you said you had no idea you could use our links to apply for credit cards.

Pro-tip: You’ll find the latest offers on our credit card page.
