You’ve only got about 12 hours left. Today’s the last day to save 35% on Southwest points.

With flights to 40 states and 14 countries, it’s easy to find a fun place to fly to on Southwest. They’re going to fly to Hawaii soon!

Last Day to Save 35% Off on Southwest Points

For the next 12 hours, you can save 35% on Southwest points when you buy points by today, August 13, 2018.

For the next 12 hours, you can save 35% on Southwest points when you buy points by today, August 13, 2018.

A minimum purchase of 5,000 points is required to get the discount you have to buy 5,000 points. You can buy up to 60,000 Southwest points per day!

Yep, per day vs a year. I repeat you can buy 60,000 Southwest points a day!

Using points are a great way to get to travel more for less. If you have the Southwest Companion Pass, you and your companion could take a vacation every week. Think of all the places you can travel to like Belize, California (Southwest has lots of flights into and out of San Diego), Cancun, and more!

It takes 72 hours for points to post to your account. So remember to buy points at least 3 days before you want to cash them in for flights.

Pro-tip: When you buy points they don’t count towards earning the Southwest Companion Pass (free flights for up to 2 years), A-List Preferred, or A-List status.

Should You Buy Southwest Points?

I’ve written about the only time you should buy airline miles.

Southwest points cost 2.75 cents per point. But with this offer, you can buy points for 1.93 cents per point.

Buying miles or points can be worth it for families and if you fly during the summer, holidays, and other times when airline tickets are expensive. Buying points now and using them to book flights can be cheaper than paying cash for your tickets.

Pro-tip: Buying Southwest points is a great way to meet minimum spending on new credit cards.

Conclusion

Today is the last day to save up to 35% on Southwest points when you buy points by August 13, 2018.

You have to buy at least 5,000 points to get the bonus. You can buy 60,000 points per day! And there’s no limit to how many sets of 60,000 points you can buy.

If you flying during the summer, holidays, or other peak travel period, you could save money on your airline tickets. Because it can be cheaper to buy points and redeem them in for airline tickets instead of paying cash.
