Bally’s Las Vegas Pool: Best Vegas Strip Pool With Deep End

Share with a friend

Planning a trip to Las Vegas and staying at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino? Bally’s Las Vegas Pool is the best and only Vegas Strip pool with a deep end. All the other Vegas hotels and casino pools are only several feet deep.

The Blu Pool at Bally’s offers a 12-foot deep end. You can swim laps without scraping your knees and knuckles on the bottom of the pool floor. The Olympic size pool offers lots of space for pool-goers to sit around in one of the many free loungers, play in the water, and swim.

If you want an basic pool with a deep end, a few palms trees, in the center of the Strip, Bally’s pool is for you!

Bally’s Blu Pool

You can sit on the edge of Bally’s Blu Pool with your feet in the water. Want to sit in the water while getting sun? There’s a running shallow ledge along the side of the pool closest to the bar.

Or stick your feet in, stand, or sit, relaxing with a drink in one of the five Baja shelves. A Baja shelf, also called a Baja Step, sun shelf, tanning shelf, and tanning ledge is a shallow cut-out sitting area.

It lets you enjoy the water without total submersion. A Baja shelf is a safe place for your children to play in the pool. These are on the side of the pool closest to the entrance.

When the Blu Pool was built, Bally’s was the original MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. At that time, Baja Shelves were the epitome of luxury. In Las Vegas, there are only a few pools with a tanning ledge.

Feel like soaking in the hot tub? There’s a large round jacuzzi that can fit at least 20 people. It’s like the size of a mini-pool.

Pro-tip: The rubber pool decking protects your feet from getting burnt.

Who Can Use the Bally’s Las Vegas Pool

You can use the Blu Pool at Bally’s for free when staying at Bally’s. If you aren’t a hotel guest, you can use the pool if you book a lounge chair, daybed, or cabana.

Unlike the Flamingo Go Pool, there isn’t a separate line for Caesars Diamond or Seven Stars members. But there usually isn’t much of a line so you won’t wait long.

You can earn Caesars Diamond status without gambling and when you match Wyndham to Caesars. If you gamble, you can Diamond in a Day. You’ll earn Diamond faster during Caesars 5x tier days.

Some of the best perks of Caesars Rewards Diamond status are no resort fees and the free yearly $100 celebration dinner.

Pool Hours

Bally’s Las Vegas pool is open seasonally from 9 am to 5 pm. The Las Vegas pool season is from March to October. Every hotel operates differently so be sure to check the pool hours before your visit. The Blu Pool is not heated.

Pro-tip: When Bally’s pool is closed, you can use the pool at Paris Las Vegas.

Pro-tip: There’s no Wi-Fi at the pool so unless you have a signal and cell service, you’ll have to wait to post all those selfies on Instagram when you get back to your room.

Bally’s Las Vegas Cabana Rental

Ten daybeds, 10 cabanas, almost 30 lounge chairs are available for rent. Loungers start at $30, daybeds for two people start at $75, and cabanas start at $400 on weekdays and can accommodate 12 people.

Rentals are less expensive on weekends and more expensive on weekends and holidays. Get there early to have your choice of cabanas and daybeds.

Cabanas include a TV, ceiling fan, misters, a fridge stocked with bottled water, a small table with chairs, and lounge chairs.

Pro-tip: If your dates are flexible, play around with the comparison table because sometimes you can find a great deal. For example, cabanas are $400 on Friday, June 18th instead of $500 on Thursday and Saturday and $700 on Sunday.

You can also rent floaties, goggles, and other pool gear.

That is an enormous pool! I don't know if I've ever been in a pool that large. It would be fun to check it out.

A pool would be important to us so knowing it's deep is great. The Baja shelves sound good. Always nice to have the option of those or a lounger.

That pool looks magnificient. After looking up how much it would cost per night to stay there, it seems it would be cheaper to stay at the hotel and have free use of the pool. It looks like a great place to stay.
