One of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas is Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar in the Park MGM Las Vegas. It’s one of my go-to places on the Vegas Strip for a quality steak. Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas solo or traveling with your partner or friends, you should have at least one dinner at Bavette’s Steakhouse.
The menu includes juicy, tender, buttery ribeyes and sumptuous filet mignon, Maine lobster, lamb chops, pork chops, burgers, and fried chicken. For food of this caliber, prices are very reasonable.
If you want the cheapest steak on the Strip get the Ellis Island Steak and Eggs deal. The absolute cheapest steak and eggs in Las Vegas is the Coronado Cafe Steak and Eggs special.
If you want a table, make a reservation via OpenTable if there’s an event at T-Mobile Arena on the night you want to dine at Bavette’s. Or you can grab a first-come, first-serve seat at the bar.
Pro-tip: If you’re staying at the Park MGM, NoMad Hotel Las Vegas, or one of the other MGM hotels, charge your dinner to your room. You’ll earn MGM Rewards Loyalty Points.
If you’ve matched your World of Hyatt account to MGM, you’ll also earn Hyatt points. These points are considered base points that count towards Globalist status.
Decor
Bavette’s Steakhouse decor sets the tone for your evening. Expect an intimate, relaxed, pleasant experience. You can linger and savor your meal. Or quickly eat and rush off to see Lady Gaga or a Vegas Golden Knights game.
Note: My photos don’t do the restaurant or food justice.
The Chicago-style steakhouse decor features a distinctive French Flair with soft lighting and red velvet booths.
The banquettes are separated by pony walls with Tiffany-style stained glass lamps.
Red leather wingbacked bar stools surround the bar in the middle of the steakhouse. Yes, this is not your typical Vegas Strip decor.
Sourdough Bread
Bavette’s Chef makes the sourdough bread fresh daily. It is hands down the best sourdough bread. Better than San Francisco sourdough.
The crust is hard and crisp while the inside of the bread is soft, chewy, and dense.
The sourdough bread is so good that I buy a round loaf to take home. It is the perfect bread for amazing grilled cheese and moppin up potato leek soup.
Mixed Greens & Apple Salad
The Mixed Greens & Apple Salad features fresh mixed crips greens, candied pecans, and liberal slices of manchego cheese.
I’ve also had the Smoked Salmon Caesar which includes hearts of Romaine and thin strips of crispy potatoes.
Roasted Bone Marrow
The Roasted Bone Marrow comes with a caramelized red onion jam. It was smooth, creamy, and savory. I ordered it as an enhancement to my steak.
Pro-tip: You’ll save $13 by ordering the roasted bone marrow as an enhancement.
Classic Ribeye – Chicago Cut
The Classic Ribeye – Chicago Cut is a USDA Prime 16-ounce ribeye steak seasoned with salt and topped with Bearnaise (I skipped the sauce). Juicy, tender, and flavorful. Your steak knife glides through the meat.
I’ve also had the Ribeye Steak Frites and Bavette’s Spiced Fried Chicken. At 10-ounces, the ribeye steak is the perfect size for one person without leaving you hungry for more.
Bavette’s Spiced Fried Chicken is also mouthwatering and yummy. It includes a portion of buttery mashed potatoes and sweet pea and cipollini gravy.
Pro-tip: Unless you’re starved, the 16 ounce ribeye and fried chicken are large enough to share. Or take your leftover home and make a sandwich with the sourdough bread.
Another great place to get ribeye or filet mignon in Las Vegas is Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse.
Buttery Mashed Potatoes
As a side, I ordered the Buttery Mashed Potatoes. They are soft, creamy, with just a hint of garlic. The sides are huge and sharable.
Pro-tip: The buttery mashed potatoes are not vegetarian or vegan-friendly. The restaurant uses chicken jus to flavor the potatoes instead of milk.

Conclusion
s
If you don’t like steak, you can order Maine lobster, salmon, roasted chicken, pork chops, and lamp chops.
Not only is the food delectable, but the atmosphere is also ideal for date night, a night with friends, or an evening alone.

The food looks amazing and it's making me hungry. I don't think I've ever had roasted bone marrow before, though.
