If you’re looking for where to have a good steak in Las Vegas, eat at Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse on the Las Vegas Strip. Named after Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel and his business partner Meyer Lansky, it is one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas.
We ate at Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse at Flamingo Las Vegas for free using our Caesars Diamond Celebration dinner.
When it first opened and for a short time, the Bugsy and Meyer’s head chef was Lamar Moore, winner of “Vegas Chef Prizefight.”
Here’s how a $100 Caesars Diamond Celebration Dinner covered a 3-course meal including drinks.
Pro-tip: Your Diamond dinner credit covers alcohol at Bugsy & Meyer’s.
Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse Secret Entrance
With a nod to Bugsy and Meyer’s mob connections, you enter through a fake bakery front, past the kitchen and meat cooler where you can see the dry-aged steaks, and are led to one of three dining areas. You’ll feel like a mobster or a celebrity avoiding the paparazzi.
Dress Code
There’s no official Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse dress code. If you want a more romantic and quiet experience in the main interior of the restaurant, come in business casual attire.
Arrive casually dressed and you’ll sit in the patio lounge, the exterior seats flanking the false bakery with Flamingo Casino views.
Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse Menu
The two-page Bugsy Meyer’s steakhouse menu includes other entrees such as chicken, lamb chops, or scallops.
Despite a 5-page drink menu, we went with the more traditional route, a Martini and a Chocolate Martini.
Pro-tip: The Count Room, Bugsy & Meyer’s Speakeasy, offers drink tableside service from the beverage cart.
Each table gets one shredded Parmesan-topped bread loaf. You may have to fight your dinner companion/s for a share of this bun.
For our appetizers, we chose the 17th Century Onion Soup and the Caesar Salad.
The 17th Century soup, made from a veal stock base, was unbelievable. It was one of the best French Onion Soups Jeff has had.
Bugsy and Meyers Steakhouse doesn’t offer a lot of vegetables so I got a Caesar Salad.
Whether at home or at a steakhouse, Rib Eye is my steak of choice. I ordered the 16-ounce Prime, Rib Eye with a baked potato.
Jeff chose the Wet Aged 10-ounce Filet Mignon with a side of mushrooms.
Flavored with Bugsy and Meyer’s house rub and aged a minimum of 21 days, they are some of the best steaks in Las Vegas. Your knife will glide through the steak.
For dessert, we ordered two of the three choices: the Single Barrel and the Chocolate Banana.
The Single Barrel is a mini date cake set in a brandy glass of caramel Mousse and toasted Pecan Vanilla Gelato. A caramel-swirled chocolate donut-shaped disk rests on the glass rim.
Warm salted caramel whiskey is poured over the disk, melting it into the decadent concoction adding the boozy element to the dessert.
You can watch the astonishing transformation in this video.
The Chocolate Banana is a chocolate lover delight with alternating layers of banana bread and Devil’s Food cake topped with a milk chocolate mousse glaze and thick chocolate shards and garnished with fresh berries.
Multiple Celebration Dinner Credits
You can redeem multiple Celebration dinner credits for one meal. They can be yours or another Caesars Diamond, Diamond Elite, or Seven Star member’s Caesars Celebration dinner. This is a great option if you only visit Las Vegas once or twice a year.
We earned our Caesars Diamond with minimal gambling. I got mine via Caesars Diamond in a Day during a Caesars 5x tier day. Jeff earned his Caesars Diamond status without gambling.
At Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse, we used three $100 credits. Our meal came to $305.60. Thanks to our credits, we only had to pay $5.60 not including the tip.
Your Caesars Diamond Celebration Dinner credit doesn’t cover the gratuity.
Pro-tip: But you have to use your entire $100 credit. Be sure to use your entire $100 credit. Because there’s no residual value. If you don’t use your entire $100 Celebration Dinner credit, there is no leftover credit. You forfeit what you don’t use. So use it or lose it.

Conclusion
As a Caesars Diamond, you can use your dining credit at any participating Caesars-owned restaurant in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Laughlin, Lake Tahoe, Hoosier Park, and Horseshoe Indianapolis.
We’ve used ours at Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse at the Flamingo Las Vegas Casino. Combining multiple dinner credits, our 3-course meal with drinks came to only $5.60.
