MGM Grand Las Vegas Pool: the Relaxation Paradise You Want

Share with a friend

The MGM Grand Las Vegas Pool is more than a pool, it’s a relaxation paradise. The MGM Grand Pool Complex has four pools, a Lazy River, waterfalls, and three jacuzzis spread out over 6.5 acres. It’s also where you’ll find one of the best day clubs, Wet Republic.

But fair warning, it’s a hike to get there from your room. You might get half your steps in for the day. From the guest room elevators, walk through the casino towards The District. Walk past all the restaurants, use the stairs or escalator to get to the MGM Pool.

MGM Grand Las Vegas Pool Hours

The Main Pool & Live Lucky are open daily from 9 am to 7 pm. The Lazy River is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The Private Reserve 18+ pool is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm. Hours vary during the year depending on the season. So be sure to confirm with the website.

Who Can Use the MGM Las Vegas Pool

Normally, the MGM Grand Las Vegas Pool is only open to MGM Grand hotel guests with a valid room key and non-hotel guests who rent a cabana or daybed. Due to current restrictions, only hotel guests can use the MGM Las Vegas Pool.

You can bring circular inner tubes to the MGM Pool. But fins, flippers, and pool toys aren’t allowed.

Outside food and alcohol aren’t allowed. Nor are coolers.

There isn’t a separate line for Caesars Diamond or Seven Stars members as there is at the Flamingo Go Pool. You can earn Caesars Diamond in a Day. You’ll earn Diamond faster during Caesars 5x tier days. You can also earn Caesars Diamond status without gambling and by matching Wyndham to Caesars.

When you have Caesars Rewards Diamond status you pay no resort fees and get a free yearly $100 celebration dinner.

MGM Pool Cabana & Daybed Rentals

There are free loungers at the MGM Pool. But if you want to guarantee admission and a spot, you can rent a cabana or daybed. Cabanas and daybeds can accommodate 6 guests.

Pod, daybed, or cabana rental check in is from 9 am to 11 am. Check-ins, after 11 am, are forfeited. Your rental is cancelled.

Pro-tip: MGM Grand Las Vegas Pool pod, daybed and cabana rentals include half the rental amount in beverage credit. This is an awesome deal. Because most Las Vegas hotel pools do not include the rental in the food and beverage minimum.

You can rent padded loungers starting at $10. Rental includes a side table, poolside WI-FI, bottled water, umbrella, and towel service.

A Pool Side Pod for two starts at $40 and a Lazy River Pod starts at $60. Pool Side Daybed rentals for four start at $60. Lazy River day bed rentals for four start at $80. Premium Daybeds for four start at $150.
